Last night (February 6th) the Russian invaders shelled Volchansk with multiple rocket launchers. This was reported in the press service of the Emergency Situations Directorate of the Kharkiv region.
It is reported that the shelling of the city, which is located at a distance of less than 4 km from the border with the aggressor state, happened at 19:30. The city hospital was under fire. As a result, a shell hit on the roof of the building started a fire on an area of 150 square meters, it was quickly extinguished by rescuers. In addition, shell fragments damaged two ambulances parked near the building. According to preliminary information, there were no dead or injured. Rescuers evacuated eight civilians from the basement, who were hiding there from shelling. The degree of destruction, as well as the damage caused during enemy shelling, is established. It is known that literally the day before, repair work was completed in the city clinic.
Around 21 o’clock the enemy shelled the city again, a transformer pole caught fire, the fire was extinguished with a fire extinguisher.
