Tajik President Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad the day before.
According to the press service of the head of state, the telegram of condolences to the President of Turkey reads, in particular: “We received the news of the death and injury of a large number of people as a result of a strong earthquake in the southeastern regions of Turkey, which also led to huge material damage, with a feeling of deep sorrow. .
In connection with the tragic consequences of this natural disaster, expressing our sincere condolences and words of sympathy to you, Your Excellency, to all the friendly people of Turkey, I wish the relatives and friends of the victims good patience, and all the victims – a full recovery.
The telegram of condolences to the President of Turkey notes: “The news of a strong earthquake in our friendly Syria, which caused the death and injury of a large number of people, as well as huge destruction in the country, caused us immense grief.
At this difficult time, I express to you, Mr. President, and to all the friendly Syrian people, our deepest condolences, I wish good patience to the families and friends of the victims, and a full recovery to all the victims.”
We will remind, on the eve of the morning in Turkey and Syria there were strong earthquakes. According to various sources, the death toll is approaching 4,000.
