Issues of holding the Tajik-Russian investment forum discussed in Dushanbe

In early March of this year, the Tajik-Russian investment forum will be held in Dushanbe. Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan Sadi Kodirzoda met with the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov.

According to the press center of the State Committee for Investments, during the meeting the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the field of investment in the country’s economy.

It was emphasized that over the past 10 years, $1.6 billion has been attracted to the economy of Tajikistan, of which $850 million are direct investments. In particular, in 2022, more than $26 million of Russian investments were attracted, which indicates our untapped potential.

The parties also discussed issues related to attracting direct investment through the creation of a Tajik-Russian investment fund and through the creation of joint industrial enterprises.

The parties exchanged information on holding the Tajik-Russian investment forum, scheduled for March 2 this year, the State Committee for Investment reported.
